Visiting Farnham Castle

The Castle Keep and Exhibition Room is open free of charge to visitors.

Come and see the centre of a Norman Castle and the very best panoramic view of Farnham and its surroundings. The Keep is closed in January but open every day through the rest of the year. The Exhibition Room is open most days (except over Christmas and New Year).

Opening hours for both are from 9am to 5pm (or dusk if earlier) on weekdays, and from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Last entry is half an hour before closing. Limited parking is available for 'blue badge' holders.

Guided tours of the Bishop's Palace take place every Wednesday afternoon, 2-4pm. Tours cost £5 for adults. Free to students and anyone under 18 years of age. You don't need to book. Just turn up. Come and see us and find out more about the exceptional and largely hidden history of Farnham's Norman Castle.

Before travelling it is advisable to check this website for accessibility, contact us by email: farnhamcastle1138@gmail.com
